I was playing with my tablet tonight, and I decided to quickly sketch out something for this week’s Illustration Friday topic. It’s a rather loose interpretation for reverse, but I wanted to refrain from the overly obvious.
Does anyone have any helpful advice for using a drawing tablet?
This silly doodle is another simple sketch from my brand new Wacom Intuos 4. I absolutely love the tablet so far, and I am trying my hand at fun and simple exercises to help build some new hand-eye coordination.
We’ve all had one of those jobs. Perhaps not quite this embarrassing, but certainly many of us can empathize with wearing a silly uniform to a first job! From silly hats to poodle skirts, I’ve become convinced that these over-the-top uniforms are systematic forms of torture! Muahahaha!

This time of year, I can’t help but sit by my mailbox waiting for the packages sent from my family to arrive. It does not snow where I live, I but I think it’s a little more romantic this way. (Another experiment of my combination of painted and digital elements. I plan to do an entire book in this type of style.)
On October 5, 2010 – Phoenix, Arizona was hit with an apocalyptic hail storm and allegedly a couple of small tornadoes. Afterwards, all we could say was a hallow and collective: “Ouch! – What the hail?”.
